Babyziety at christenings

Anyone else the same? I feel like I'm having a full on panic attack this morning getting ready for a christening. I just keep imagining everyone asking why we haven't had a baby yet or if we want children. Then my mind skips to a family event where someone I've never met is going and imagining her saying the same... argh

Then me coming back like a b*tch instead of bring honest and all like yea well we have had 3 holidays already this year... and asking if they ever thought about using protection for once...

I know how you feel... I couldn’t face my best friends baby shower (which had the baby there as she went into labour over 4 weeks early) as I’d just had another negative pregnancy test the night before... I was a complete mess! Plus I don’t love crowds most of the time anyway

My family are constantly ‘why haven’t you had kids yet?!’ Even though I’ve been through 2 redundancies in the last 4 years so only just started really trying as things are now stable

Well I told the husband. He did his usual "that won't happen"

Sure enough first person we speak to "it will be you next..." thing is as cutting as it is you just want to say are you thick? We're nearing our mid 30s. We've been married a couple of years and together nearly 10 years... if we WERE going to be next do you NOT think it would have happened by now?

People are idiots.

I go the other way and just brag about my carefree life, my 3 holidays a year and new car lol. It looks like I have it all but obviously I know none of that stuff matters

I have the opposite: they go to us "you not having another one,right?" Just because I got a 18y old daughter and a 9y son boy from two different relationship so they don't think it is appropriate for me to have a baby with my husband ....people are never happy whatever you do.....and isn't them business anyway!

Yea lol I'm just a bugger though I think my family know better then to say anything to me to be fair because I was with my ex 7 years and no one ever asked if we were getting married or having kids lol so they will be abit shocked when we get our BFP other then my sister she knows we are trying
