Baby taking husbands first name??

My OH and his dad have the same name, but OH uses his middle name. If we ever get a boy he will have that first name to (dunno if he'll use it cos I don't like it! Lol)

Also my cousin and his dad and grandad all had the same name, and all used it. He used to be really proud of the fact he was Ian McLeod the third (sounded really posh! Lol)

I personally wouldnt like it. Nothing to do with name i just think baby deserves their own little name Im also irish & recently one of my friends had a baby boy and called him Rian (Reen) which translated means little king, i also love Donncha too

From experience I wont give lo same first name or initial as hubby. This is cos my brother and dad are called Michael and it was fine when he was little, but when he started receiving post and phone calls it got confusing.
