Baby stuff from wish?

Has anyone bought baby stuff from China, specifically the wish site/app? My dad loves it and got all our Christmas bits and stocking fillers from there and it seemed great. I'm thinking of getting a few baby bits, mostly just outfits but I'm slightly nervous as you hear all the time about stuff being unsafe of produced with a lot of lead or chemicals. Has anyone bought baby bits from there and how did it go?

I bought a baby wearing hoodie once and chucked it straight in the bin!! Cheap tat, poorly made.and terrible quality. Wouldn't buy anything from there ever again tbh!

I’ve not heard of wish but I have however ordered some bits from China. Some stuff you get lucky with and they are ok but then most of the stuff is such bad quality. I wouldn’t wear it let alone let my child wear it x

I avoid clothes on Wish or AliExpress but I have ordered some bibs which were useful. I ordered a plastic one which is very useful with soups because it has a little curve at the bottom so it catches everything uneaten. I have also ordered a placemat which I take along wherever we go. It saves me from having to clean the table and my daughter can eat from the placemat in case something falls off or if there isn't a plate for her.
Just stay away from clothes!x

My OH bought one of those elephant teddys where the baby can lay on it, however when he got it, it was half the size so no baby will be laying on that comfortably, but was actually quite a nice teddy.

I think its very hit and miss, and as ever 'you get what you pay for' x

Honestly don't, such a, waste of money! If you search on Facebook for baby wearing groups there's lots of hoodies for sale within them and they're all trusted brands. Lenny Lamb to do a lovely hoodie, it is expensive but worth every penny. There are loads pre loved in good condition on offer though.

Thanks, I will check it out, my daughter was born in May so I never had one for her, with this one due in September I'm thinking it might be more practical for the school runs! Having bad experience last year though I'm not buying anything until after the 20 week scan so I have loads of time! X
