OK so its getting to the point that dylans strating to rock on his knees and so i know anyday hell be off! general babyproofing is fine! but need some advice with bookshelves. we have a small one full on cds and a large one (nearly floor to ceiling) full of dvds and a few books! we want to still be able to have access to them and cant really move the bookshelves themselves else where as were in a small flat but dont want him pullign them all off the shelves and "ruining them" as OH put it! moving things higher up the shelves wont work as ots pretty packed as it is....

Any ideas?? :eh:

I've left my bookcase how it is, when Tegan was first on the move she loved nothing more than pulling all the books off! but after telling her NO and moving her away several times she doesn't touch them anymore xx

Hummm... it does seem a lot less hassle that way.....

I know it sounds a bit silly but could you give it a wobble & a shake & stuff & see if its easy to pull over. I'm having visions of a toddler clearing all the books off & hiding in one of the shelves lool but if its very sturdy then it wont fall over so you should be fine & just go with the saying no thing, if you think its not very sturdy then get rid!!

The joys!!

Oh theres no chance of it falling over.lol oh us just way to.protective over his cds n dvds!

You could try a fire guard type thing, or move the best cd's/dvds to the top.

:)

We're having that problem at the moment with our book case. We'e just been moving Erin away every time she goes for it and distracting her with a toy. Its working so far. There havent been any accidents and the worst she has done as far as ruining anything goes, is drooling on the printer paper which was right at the bottom. (Not anymore!)
