Baby projectile vomited whole feed

Hello,

As it says above my 5 week old projectiled her whole feed all over herself, me and the bed. It was horrid gushing out her mouth and nose. Is this normal with babies or the sign of something else or not right? I'm so worried as it seemed like so much coming out. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I mention to doctor? Thanks xx

Hi, my lo did this when she was little. Same as you, I was panicking. But she only did it the once and was perfectly fine! I wrote about it on here too and someone said it was probably due to trapped wind - if the milk landed ontop of the wind then it would come back up kind of thing xx

My lo did that a few times when she was little, scared the life out of me but she was always fine. I quickly figured out it was usually after I'd eaten something that didn't agree with her - usually a curry (not even that hot). She's nearly 3 now and won't touch anything spicy still. Hope your lo is ok xxx

If it she only does it once in a while I'd say nothing to worry about.
