Hi ladies!

I'm coming up to 20 weeks and can only feel my baby from the inside, there's no kicking as such but a sensastion that I can only describe as a fish swimming round my tummy.

Has anyone else not felt 'kicks' yet? I really want to feel it and form my husband to too!
Thanks everyone!

Is it your first?

I am not even feeling fishing yet lol

Apparently with first it can take much longer

20 weeks with my first and I can not feel nothing... I feel the occasion cramp or tug but I'm not convinced it's the bubba. :(
I often check in on the ultrasound machine at work though and see him kicking the hell out of me so baffled as to why I can't feel him. :(

When you suddenly realise what it is you'll probably think you've been feeling it for weeks

I can't feel kicks on the outside yet. Well maybe the odd one. It will gradually get stronger over the next few weeks I know. This is the fun time!

I get kicks and lots of movement but I'm 20 weeks now. We can feel it from the outside as well but it's my second baby x

I am almost 17 weeks with my first and I can feel fish swimming type movements now and then! Kinda like butterflies. I think they call this quickening? Almost sure I felt a kick a few days ago but can't be 100%

Hi guys I'm 18wk 3days and I'm not sure if I've felt baby yet, I get a feeling in the evenings normally, in the left hand side beneath belly button and it almost feels like a little muscle spasm, and a bit like if you go over a hill quickly in your car, and the belly flips a bit - does this possibly sound like it could be baby or am I solely going insane?!! I'm SO desperate to feel something I'm not sure if my head is playing tricks but this is the closest explanation for the feeling I can give?? Xx

I'm at this stage as well, my other half really wants to be able to feel some kicks,

I've been having the flutters for few weeks, and I was convinced I had a kick the other day but not sure if I was over thinking it and wishful thinking.

My scan is a week on Friday, and I'm really excited for this one, and because there's no real feeling of kicking yet its always a panic that all is well.

I felt my DD for the first time at 16 weeks and it got stronger by the day. I am 19+4 with my second and can barely feel a thing so in my opinion it's a load of twaddle that you feel baby earlier with 2nd! I have got a bigger bump this time too and suffered awful stomach separation previously so I think I am just a whole lot less toned and sensitive! Very frustrating but I'm sure in 10 weeks time I'll be able to feel baby all the time and so will hubby :)

I'm 15w with my first and have been able to feel a tiny bit of movement for a couple of weeks (at least that's what I think it is XD) but the feeling gets stronger each week. Its strange and I don't feel it all the time (it can be easily missed or mistaken for something else) but I can only describe it as a fish swimming as others have said. You probably can feel some movement but just don't realise what it is yet :) I cant wait to feel those proper kicks and for my hubby to be able to too, from what I have read other people cant usually feel baby until around 22weeks.

I think im starting to feel baby now although no major kicks.. just movement

I still occasionally feel the fish-swimming type feeling and cant wait for those kicks! 19 weeks with first baby so I think it should be a bit longer?
Are the kicks painful in anyway?

I think it just goes to show everybody is different. I felt the first kick at 18 weeks which was the weird muscle spasm feeling. Then at 20 weeks my OH felt it and since then the kicks have been really strong. It's the best thing! Apart from when it kicks further down in which case it's uncomfortable and I have to get up and go for a walk!

I fel the baby pushing onto my belly last night and there was a little hard bump on one side. AWWWW Im so happy and cant wait to see another bump/kick.

I cant feel constant movements in my tummy though like many others. I dont feel pregnant. I dont know if there is such a thing as "feeling pregnant"

I think you will feel pregnant the more kicks that you get. I didn't feel it until I started to get regular movement and now I really do feel pregnant! :)
