hi

i was telling my friend about baby kicking and she said to keep a note of when its most active as this is when it will be active when its born.

id never heard this before but is interesting as she said if it keeps you awake at night then this is when he will wake.

well mine little bump is very active at 7 in the morning and again about 8 at night so far hes not woke me up in the night, im keeping fingers crossed on that one lol xxxx

i just know mine is active after ive ate so breakfast, lunch and dinner, i get a few kicks before bed (11pm) and again when i wake to pee (TMI sorry) at 5am, so far the night ones are not that strong and i hope he is just wriggler when asleep... or i could hope for two night feeds 11pm and 5am :)

i havent heard this theory before but would be intersted to see if its true..

xx

apparently they develop a sleeping pattern even while in the womb so thats the pattern they have when they come out

Oh great!! My baby starts having a mad kicking as soon as I get into bed!! Til about 3am! Night time will be fun for me then lol

My little man woke up for a bottle during the night the same time as he used to wake up in my belly.
Im getting no sleep with this one as she never stops moving, especially during the night! x x

I had my little one 5 weeks ago when i was carrying her she would be quiet most of the day untill 6pm then be active untill 9pm then keep me up all night till 6am and shes still doing it!

i've asked about this in the ask a mum section and most of the mums said it's not true, though i have read quite a few mixed comments about it else where!

i don't mind though, as my little man likes to have a good go during the day/evening but he's not woken we up at night . . . yet (bet thats when my waters go!)

I heard about this too.
Sucks for me if it's true because little lady is a lazy bum like mum and dad and she enjoys a lie in but she's pretty active at night (like mum and dad again) xxx

This doesn't bode well for me! I thought my LO was a fantastic sleeper as apart from when i first get into bed, she doesn't move all night - until the night i couldn't sleep because i was in so much pain that i was awake all night and the little monster was on the go, with quite strong movements from 11pm til 5am! She always makes her presence known when i get up to go to the loo, so i'm guessing i just sleep through
