Ever since 16 weeks I've been getting kicks and jolts from this little gymnast throughout the day and sometimes when I wake up at night and definitley in the morning. I'm wondering if active babies and mellow babies have somewhat of the same personality they had in the womb once they come out. Does anyone have babies that had the same personality inside the womb as they do after birth? or are they different?

My last pregnancy , bubs loved music and would really get moving to any and all music , now she's a two years old and still loves any music and will jump to her feet and dance and sing , so yes I do believe somethings do carry through. This pregnancy all movements are mostly during the night so I reckon I won't be getting much sleep when he/she arrives . xx

I've an early morning wriggler and late at night! She's partial to jumping on my cervix and bladder at the moment. Maybe I should enrole our girl for gymnastics as soon as she's born! Haha.

My SIL had 2 hyper babes(most likely due to the high volumes of caffeine consumed during both pregnancies). However, both boys have slept 12 hours and more through the night from about 3 weeks. The eldest is 6 and is very active during the day and the baby (8months) is same, he just cat naps for about 2x25 mins during the day.

Guess each child is different though....although I get the feeling it's not looking good for my long lies! Eeeeeek xxx

Mine has busy afternoons mostly and another little burst in the evening around bedtime. If I wake up around 6am I sometimes feel some gentle movements. I'm hoping I'm making a good sleeper in there, but I'm sure when I can really feel all of the movements and be woken by them in a few more weeks when LO's bigger I'll be in for a shock lol

Mine is great! Wakes up at 7.30, then again at lunchtime them again at 8.30pm when it's most active. Has a bit of a wriggle about 11ish when I got to bed. Almost like clockwork!

Hope it's the same when it comes out! Haha

Don't know if it means anything but I am in same boat been feeling baby a few days now at 15 weeks and baby is very active but does sleep for periods , baby is awake at the minute and seems to be awake every four hours!

Last night I had my little nephew to sleep over, he is 8 months. Poor wee man was beyond tired and cried for 30 mins before settling. Meanwhile I was being kicked and punched. This went on for hours even although Fletcher was sleeping. Tonight I've watched my sisters keeper and broke my heart, she's at it again. big strong movements down below, eeeeeew!

Starting to think she really doesn't like the sound of crying! Lol. Xx
