A great ending to a pretty sh*tty day - OH and I just felt baby's big kicks with hands on my belly. A pure gold ending to the day! :)

awww that's so sweet! it makes you realise what a great, amazing thing you're doing bringing another life into the world.. feeling the baby move and sharing with with OH makes it all that little bit more special :D xxx

Rosie's Mummy, My OH felt the big kicks this morning! I was so surprised at how overjoyed I was that he was able to finally share bubs. It's so amazing isn't it. I actually thought he was just saying he could feel it to make me happy but he was then able to tell me when there were kicks without me saying. Glad you had a good ending to the day, and remember tomorrow is a brand new one!

i cant wait for my OH he always misses it. i feel sorry 4 them men they must feel so left out shame 4 them. i want my OH 2 be as much involved as he can.

Aww mine hasnt fel them yet because we cant feel them by hands yet!
BUT i can feel them myself plus we bought a doppler to share :)
wowwww i love dopplers it arrived this morn and it makes me sooo happy to hear it :)

wow! cant wait to get to that stage! :yay:

They were proper big kicks, they made me jump too. Baby has long legs like Rosie did, the doc commented on it when I had that scan last week! Bubs starts kicking at the same time every night, the same time that Rosie used to wake up - coincidence perhaps but nice! :)

oh wow! I am sooo looking forward to going through what you are... am dying to feel he or she moving. It just seems like such a long time between scans to know if everything is okay. Am so happy for you both though! xxx

i agree mel_ed!! my OH always watching my belly and talking to him while i'm sleeping it's so adorable! i think his eyes would well up if he could feel them moving, he more emotional than me! hehe

and rakrak i also agree with time between scans.. i always worry like is everything ok, how do they know it's all ok without scanning etc? having private healthcare would deffo be a bonus while being pregnant but i don't have a bean to me name :( lol. probably a good thing tho otherwise i'd be getting scan every 5 mins..

a doppler sounds like a good idea though where could i get a decent one of them for me and OH to share? don't wanna spend too much as i only have 3 months left!

xxxx

Looking forward to this stage as well - especially as children wil get to feel bubs x

i brought a doppler at 10 weeks preg and wen it arrived at 11 weeks from the straight off i got to hear bubs heartbeat aswel as record on to me lappy :D also ur midwives shud listen on the doppler to xx

oh lovely end to your day RM!
Glad OH got to feel it too, so exciting

I bought my doppler from ebay for £20 and its wonderful. i find the heartbeat really quickly everytime and everyone gets to hear it :)

its an angel sounds one from japan! lol

Congratulations on the kicks, my o/h felt them for the first time last night. He smiled and kept his hand there for a while... and then the first thing out his mouth.... 'It is pretty weird though, isn't it?

Oh, ffs! Calmly explained it is not weird; it is great, so think he'll keep that opinion to himself from now on!

Alex felt it this morning and jumped and moved his hand away straight away!
