Hi guys, since I had our daughter, my husband and I have only caught snatches of "us time" depending on when baby is asleep. Because she sleeps in her crib in our room, we tend to do our business everywhere else but in our room. I miss and would love extended, languid time in bed together but I feel so creeped out doing anything like that with our little girl in the same room, even though she's asleep. I'm also anxious she'll wake up!! Any ideas on how to get around this?

Maybe put her in her own room while you dtd? I know what you mean though, it's very difficult. My mum would mind lo overnight every now and again and we could stay in a hotel for the night (she doesn't do this now I have 4 btw lol) xx

I can only agree , intimacy is so important in a relationship and making time for it shouldnt make you feel guilty think of it as keeping your realationship healthy and happy xxx

we even feel funny when my teenage daughter is at home, feels kind of worse now she's older in a way and might hear us, can be a right turn off having kids around! Not sure which is worse them not knowing whats going on or knowing lol! We catch most of our time together when she out or at school!!

god youre good having sex so soon (i say) after having baby! i couldnt think of anything worse at the mo! ( had so much repair work i looked like a patch work quilt gone wrong) i have had it twice since and both times downstairs in the living room as i also feel wierd doing anything like that in the same room as my daughter!! x
