Has anyone tasted it and noticed it tastes really sweet? Or is that just me? What on earth could make it taste sweet? I only ever used to smell it with my first son but never tasted it until now.

Harry had some the other day from his dippy cup as he doesn't like my expressed milk for some reason and I thought it tastes sugary

Breastmilk is very sweet so I guess it's just trying to copy that?

yeah, all baby milk is sweet, breast and formula (gag) much too sweet for me but thats why they like sweet foods at first. can you imagine going from a diet of really sweet stuff only to suddenly having to eat some potato lol

Not sure whether it's just the comfort milk but I think Phoebe's tastes quite bitter. It's yuk!

when alfie was on cow n gate it was quite sweet and then he was swapped onto sma LF and it tastes disgusting really weird taste, no wonder the poor kid cried for the first few days on it on the plus side potato and carrot etc goes down a treat must be miles better than the milk x

Try the prescription lactose free stuff like neocate - that smells like vomit! I didn't try it!
