Has anybody had to deal with this? I'm.guessing that's what she has because they look like teeny tiny pimples on her face. She is 16 days old and I dont know how to get rid of them...

I thought the pseudo period was odd enough....

It's really common. Just keep them clean and they will go with time. My son had it too and it cleared up on it's own.

Harry had it wen very little it will clear hun dont worry.

It's quite normal, their skin is getting used to everything and that's how it reacts! If you are bfing then about 4-5 weeks she will get a lot more and red ones but they only last a couple of weeks and then go, zachs are just clearing up now at 6 weeks....wonder what we will get next!! If you are bfing put a little milk on them, milk is the miracle cure for all skin irritants! X

The period thing really freaked me out! I had not heard of that before it happened.

Are they hard little white spots? They are 'milk spots' and they come and go. I get the odd one as an adult and they aren't poppable like normal spots, they really hurt to squeeze and don't come away, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it on a baby. My little girl had a few and they've gone already.

They go on their own - it's all hormonal - just keep them clean and dry x

Omg the period thing was disgusting - I had never heard of it and nobody else's little girls had one.... Im glad it's over.

The spots are tiny and bumpy. Some have little white tips like whiteheads... I'm guessing it's possibly hormonal, again of all the nct baby's she's the only one with spots :S everyone else has smooth baby skin :(

It's not a gender thing - my son had them terribly all
Over his face and chest

Babies got to learn to produce and manage it's own hormones after relying on yours for so long - that's why they loose hair after being born and get spots etc - it's just natural inbalences correcting themselves :)

My youngest had this and you know what.... they cleared up over night! Literally, he went to bed his little cheeks covered in red pimples..... and got up the next day and they were gone! I think he was about three weeks old when they disappeared. Hopefully your little ones will clear just as quick x

My little girl had this and they did not clear on their own, I waited and waited while her face got worse and worse because so many people said it would clear quickly. Eventually after two weeks of it I went to the doctor who prescribed Hydromol ointment (like a Vaseline type cream) and Hydromol bath emollient to use instead of ordinary bath staff. Within a few days it was all clearing up and finally I had my beautiful skinned baby back! I also stopped using the johnsons first touch bath stuff which I had been using as a friend said she knew someone whose baby had reacted badly to it and perhaps it was irritating the baby acne more.

Every baby is different but if it isn't clearing in a few days I would ask your GP - I waited too long and her poor little face was a mess! X
