Well, tomorrow is my birthday so we are having the day off work. When we booked it, we decided that since May 2004 was the last time we had been away from work for more than 3 days in a row, we were going to have a whole week! Therefore, we are off work from NOW, until August 20th.
I am SO excited about this.
It means we get to chill out. We're going to have a few days here and there at the seaside(s) with my sister and her kids (her OH will be at work) but it will be fun. I've waited ages for this and ages for summer so hopefully there will be lots of sun for us next week.
Tomorrow night we are having a BBQ at home (well, in the garden, LOL) to celebrate me getting yet another year older and we decided that since life has been stressful the past few weeks (which is REALLY has with all the bleeding etc..), we're going to make a night of it. We bought a new huge gazebo and did the garden up and added lights etc. I even bought my nephews an inflatable bouncy castle, inflatable ten pin bowling and an inflatable train with 300 plastic balls to make it into a ball pit! They should be well entertained and also give my sister a break too!
Can't wait. So... if I'm not around for a while after tomorrow, that's why. I'll be relaxing and having a bit of fun for a change. I feel I deserve it and need it to wind down... and so does my poor Matt! Time to celebrate being PG instead of feeling down all the time and worrying!
