Evening everyone!

So I have heard that arnica tablets are great for taking post birth to help the healing process. After my daughter was born I found the healing from a tear and episiotomy really rough so want to be prepared this time!

Went into boots today to get arnica and just checked they are ok to take when breastfeeding but the pharmacist wasn't sure. Has anyone been recommended them by midwife or doctor when they were breastfeeding?

Thanks xx

Yes I was advised to take the 30c pillules in a purple tube by the maternity unit after delivery. They knew I was breastfeeding as I checked twice with them being a nervous ftm! xx

I've bought some tablets and cream ready to use so hoping they are ok for breastfeeding x

I took them last time (had a fairly traumatic forceps birth, and healed really well), and they were recommended by my midwife. I'll be taking them again this time (same ones as browneyed girl, by the sounds of it!), as I was expecting a horrific recovery with my little girl, and had very little pain. Got mine on Amazon. :)

Same as above Tessa started them yesterday, mw recommended them n knows I'm combi feeding.
