Why do these things always happen. The only goal I had for today was to do the ironing

Ha Harry saw to me doing nothing this morning. So I got lunch managed to get Harry to sleep and commenced ironing

3 shirts in and the iron dies!! Even more annoyingly is just last week we bought some spare filters for it (it's a steam iron).

Harry wakes up so have a feed and I thought I'll have a walk in sunshine. Harry always falls asleep on the pram.... Not today

Then I get back and realise that when the iron broke it knocked off the electric do ridge and freezer have been turned off

Aarghh rant over. Given up on doing anything now before hubby comes home!!!

Edit- and now I realise I've posted this on feeding section!!! God I need a large glass of wine

oh dear, it never rains but it pours! i have a MASSIVE pile of ironing thats been sitting for ages! never get the time to do it. hope your day is getting better. xx

i have never ironed, my oh only does his work shirts. there really isnt much need to iron i find most clothes nowdays dont even need it

Ironing??!! What's that??!! OH keeps leaving the odd pair of trousers I know he wants doing lying about hoping I'll take the hint. Hasn't happened yet!!

Tbh hubby normally does the ironing- he likes it!!!???

But it was an attempt by me to show that I can still do house things and look after Harry- epic fail!!

Lol I only started doing things around the house again when Ty was about 12 weeks! Milk it lovely!!!

Pinky I think I will. Hubby said it doesn't matter cos I'm looking after Harry all day so I'll go with that and just do the bare minimum

It's either that or rope my mum in to help!!

We're going on holiday (11 days woo!) and my MIL is coming to stay at the flat to give it a gutting!
