I've seen afew of you recommend this so I was wondering how good is it and how quick did you notice a difference?
I've just been lurking on bnb (I know traitor lol) and a woman posted a thread and charley sounds just like her baby even with the eczema and it turns out he's lactose intolerance!
Everyone recommended Aptimil comfort so I googled it to have a read about it and I've seen it costs more than normal milk like sma or cow and gate but I don't mind paying extra if it helps him! I wanna try this before going to the docs for gaviscon

it will do no harm to try it hun... ive seen it recommended on ema's diary... i used ordinary aptamil which i loved and my husbands sisters (3 of us had a baby each in 7 weeks) both got moved onto it one from sma gold and one from cow and gate and they both thought it was great altho it was ordinary aptamil... whats charlie on now?? xx

He's on sma gold but everytime I feed him his eczema looks really angry and I'm wondering if he has got a reflux it could be causing that too

not sure hun
madison is on infant gaviscon it worked wonders... my gp prescribed it over the phone lol xx

daisy has rash looking spots exactly same as pic you showed and she is also on sma gold i did change to normal aptimil but it gave her proper gripy tum so i had to swap back but i swear the sma makes skin worse

I've noticed Charleys skin gets slot worse everytime I feed him! I've got some aptamil now so will give it ago! Really hope it helps his skin cos it's looking awful!

Really hope it helps x x

I used aptamil comfort until dietician made me change to a milk protien free milk (although I might go back!). I used it because zach was really in pain with wind and colic, and it was fab, noticed the difference in a couple of days, made him sooo much happier. Not sure if it will help his skin but it won't do any harm if you change him to it, it's £8.55 in asda, not that much more expensive x

I've got cow and gate comfort for herbie the doctor said they can give you any comfort milk on prescription for the first 12 wks herbies skin is also bad but only the cream has really makes that better havent noticed a difference with the milk.
I bought baby gaviscon over the counter about£3'50 for 30 sachets

My friends baby was lactose intolerant and she got all her baby milk on prescription so didnt have to pay for it at all!!! Might be worth getting him checked out!!!

I tried him on aptamil comfort but he wouldn't drink it so he's back on sma gold now!

Did you change the teat for the comfort milk, I had to use size 3 teats cos it's so thick! If not that might be why he wouldn't have it? Hope his skin improves soon xxx
