April 2017 babys

Angel thats great news! Glad everythings growing ok xx

Katy Congrats! Very tough decision though, what are the risks of being on the fire engine whilest being so early on in a pregnancy?
xx
It's just the liability really-I would never forgive myself if I kept quiet and something happened. Obviously it's a very physical job at times. I'm still mulling it over as regards when to say something. I may pull a sicky to give myself more time x

Hey Darcy. added you on fb since I have just got it back. Can I be added to the group x

Good Evening Everyone! I'm expecting my 5th child and in my 9th week, feeling very down, very tired and generally off! Is it my age?? Not felt like this in my other pregnancies, I have 3 daughters, 23, 20 and 2 years.....and a son just turned 18. My last pregnancy was 2 years ago so not too long ago just abit concerned really!

Wow, congratulations! Welcome to the forum :) You must be due at the very start of April? I'm finding this pregnancy so exhausting, I just want to sleeeeeeep!

Congratulations, I'm tired all the flipping time constantly feel like I'm on a caffeine/sugar comedown x

wow congratulations!

i've said this quite a lot recently - i dont remember this last time :( VERY tired and VERY queasy and the famous last words of advice.. 'it gets better in a few weeks' 'You'll be fine after 12 weeks' :/

Hi, can I join you? Recently found out I'm expecting no.2! Unplanned and a complete surprise so feeling scared. Due 17th April X

Hi girls, hope everyone's okay?

Congratulations and welcome to all the newcomers! :yay:

I had my booking in appointment last week, my midwife is really lovely so that's good. Will be having a GTT soon (had GD with my first pg), got to take a higher dose of folic acid but other than that all is well. Just waiting for scan appointment to come through post!

We've told both sets of grandparents now, they're thrilled :)

Yay for mw appt PP, it always starts to feel real once you've had that I think.

Getting absolutely walloped with tiredness here, bedtime at 9 from now on I think! I'm sure my boys know something is up though, they've been really grotty the last week or so and so clingy.

Congrats and welcome to the new ladies!

Very very véry tired here too. Other than that not much symptoms still

Oh petit pois that sounds so cute.
My nan has dementia so we havent told her as she wont remember anyway. Told her sister though (my great aunt) amd she squealed on the phone lol
We are going on holiday mid september to see myOH's grandad who is 93 ( in Italy ) Cant wait to see his reaction as every time I see him he asks if I am pregnant yet lol

Oh man, I feel you on the tiredness! I'm sitting at my desk and could just close my eyes. :nap: don't fancy anything to eat either, just generally feeling hungover all the time.

Haha maybe they can sense something's cooking!!
I was feeling really bloated the other day and I swear I looked about 4 months gone - Daisy pokes me and says 'it looks like you've got a baby in there mummy!' :oooo:

Sorry I meant the baby's grandparents haha! Can see how that would confuse, sorry. That's so lovely that you're going to see OH's Grandad, I'm sure he'll be over the moon. I only have my Nana now, not going to tell her for a while but I'm sure she'll be very pleased. xx

It's awful, first tri really knocks you for six doesn't it?

I'm convinced they can, they've absolutely glued themselves to me, more so than usual. Ds2 had his 1 year jabs today so he's a miserable poo atm, poor champ  it's not been a very good day

Hi all, new to the forum and this post. I am also an April 2017 EDD, possibly 9th but that's to be confirmed when I get 12 week scan. This is our first and we are very excited/nervous!!

I'm struggling with the fatigue and loss of appetite, generally feeling run down and as someone described it earlier, hungover!!!

We haven't told anyone yet as I'm super cautious. A couple of our friends recently miscarried just before their scan and it has frightened the life out of me. I am going to tell my best friend next week so that she can support my non-drinking at the upcoming nights out lol., but she will be the only person until we have our scan.

I'll probably be asking an abundance of questions from now on so I do apologise in advance :)

Welcome LC, lovely to see you here :) ask away, it's what the forum is for :D
