April 2017 babys

Ooo not a wine person but my jack daniels will still be waiting for me haha.

Sorry if this is tmi but does any of you get moments when you feel wet? Sorry x

Tbh I'm an all the booze kind of person haha gonna need to take over the non alcoholic fizzy wine for when we tell the parents x

I don't drink so haven't been missing alcohol but definitely getting caffeine withdrawals, I'm a big Pepsi drinker and the headaches from cutting right back are killing me! And omg not eating for 2 is going to be a problem for me, I'm usually bad for skipping meals etc because I juggle two jobs and never have time to eat properly and never have much appetite, I'm now sitting here having eaten all day and just finished a massive dinner and literally could eat it all over again I'm so so hungry constantly my husband can't believe how much I'm putting away already!

Angel I have the constant feeling of being wet, I don't know if it's a subconscious thing of being hyper aware of it, constantly needing to check all the time, after having two m/c's I'm paranoid incase it's spotting. I'm trying to be really positive though, although haven't attempted any BD'ing as yet as that scares me as well!

Claire, I can relate to the whole toilet checking thing! I'm doing it too! After a horrible experience, it can become a regular thing to do, can't it. X x

Hope everyone's doing ok. X x

I absolutely love my red wine and going to miss it, but it's all worth it. I don't even want a glass because know I can't have anymore so what's the point haha!
My boobs hurt and every so often get a bit dizzy once every couple of days. I'm a bit sicky gone of my food
A bit. Which is strange because I've given up smoking ..... 3rd day with no cigi doing well won't smoke again now.
I haven't called the docs for an appointment yet EDD 12.04.17..... But I think I'll be a bit further along because done a digi few days ago and said 2-3 which means 4-5. Might wait until Monday to make a docs appointment as technically I am only 4 weeks today. Xx

Morning ladies!
Lotty congrats on not smoking for 3 days, I heard they say the first days are critical! And the drink normally goes with a smoke so thats another factor not tempting you to smoke :)
I dont smoke myself but my sister does, and she was recommended by her midwife that if the stress of quitting was too much smoke up to 3 a da max, just to keep stress levels at minimum. Not to encourage you to smoke a few or anything... If you're doing fine without then Id say why bother. Its just money going up in smoke anyway

Night no. 4 of waking up randomly at 4 am. Starting to bug me now lol! Baby's keeping me up at all hours already. Fell back to sleep until 5 and then woke up again.. At half past I decided to go get a shower as I couldnt sleep anymore anyway :p

Yes! I had it when I was pregnant with my daughter too. I had to wear pantyliners cos I couldn't stand the feeling. It's not too bad at the moment but enough to send me to the loo a million times a day to check if it's spotting

I am a wine person too! But funnily enough I haven't really fancied it for about a month - must've been my subconscious trying to tell me something haha

Hope everyone's okay today xx

Thanks Valentina normally smoke quite a lot like 20 a day, I gave up when I was pregnant with my son and given
Up again now but this time for good. Admittedly I am having nicorette chewing gum at the mo but will wean myself of them. 3rd day today and starting to get use to it.

I went to bed at 9.45 and didn't wake until 6.20 (woke by my son screaming mummy lol), but didn't
Wake once. Wonder why you keep waking at 4am you must be tired?
Xx

Lotty, you are doing so well. The first two weeks are the worst for ciggy withdrawals , said as a former 20 a day smoker myself. The Alan Carr easyway method worked for me (nothing to do with Chatty Man!).

Yes, I have a wet feeling and keep being bothered that it might be blood. Nice! I've also had to get up twice in the night, the past 2 nights to have a wee which is annoying.

The toilet checking gets very exhausting doesn't it!
Hope you're all doing ok. X x

Thank you Pambi, yes get the 2 weeks out the way. Well done you it's so addictive it's crazy eh?!
I'm starting to feel tired now.
The wet feeling down there is pretty common I think, it's called the white flow? I have it a bit but didn't with my first pregnancy guess every pregnancy is different.

I'm going to book an early private scan who else is and how many weeks you going to book it for? Anyone else gone off food a bit? With first pregnancy would eat so much but at
Mo not every interested in food.
Xx

So... I slept yesterday from 4.30-6.00, then fell asleep while we were watching a movie at 9.30-11.00. Went to bed at 11.30 after brushing my teeth etc. didnt wake up during the night today but still feel exhausted.:nap::nap:
Does this last the full pregnancy or does it get better eventually?

Hi Valentina ..... Noooooo it doesn't last the whole pregnancy for me 13-15 weeks I started to feel more energised.... I remember going food shopping and seeing pregnant women walking around and I was thinking "how can I do this if I feel this tired already" but promise it gets better I found the first 12 weeks the most tiring out of my whole pregnancy. In the 2nd trimester I felt amazing with lots of energy.
XXXX

I think I'm going to try hold off and book my private scan for 9-10 weeks. If I can hold out until then hehe xx

Ok i really don't want to offend anyone but i really need to vent. My friend is 9wks preg and has a son who is 11. He is away at his dads just now and she is complaining about how exhausted she is and she has so much to do. She has never worked and shes 32 and she has been kid free for week. Exhausted i wish I could sit on my butt at home but i get up get my kids sorted and myself ready for work. My OH looks after our autistic son and works from home. When i get home we team up and do what needs doing if my son has had a bad day this can involve a lot of tiding and by the time i get my kids to bed and settled its 9pm. I would love to see how she feels after that, and i dont complain about it i just get on with it. Sorry really need to vent. I don't want to offend anyone not working as i know situations can be very different but this friend has chose not to work and never wants to work and thats the difference xx

Rant away I did a fair bit of ranting when ttc about a friend(acquaintance) who is five months now and has complained every single day about the pregnancy. One of the things she has done has annoyed is making a baby list, now I'm sorry but me and my husband chose to have this baby so we have set aside money to pay for things we know our parents will want to buy some things for us but I wouldn't expect friends and other family to buy the big things like cots and prams, I just think she is way out of order.

On a completely unrelated note do you think dogs know you're pregnant? My dog won't leave my side and he's usually a loner doesn't like cuddles etc xx

Ranting is allowed now, blame the hormones lol.
I wish I could lay on the settee all day and just rest too! Sounds like a dream. Helas for me my alarm goes off at 6.30 am every day during the week. I work 3 full days and 2 halfs. Thank god for afternoon naps :)

Darcy yes I do think they can, I've heard stories similar to that before too. The past few months when my collegue brought her dog into work he'd all of a sudden stand by me quite often. That was another one of my symptom radars going off .. Even though it wasnt true at the time (:

So I've got the dreaded spotting today, accompanied by cramps on and off. Called nhs 24 because my last 2 mc's have started this way, they just said to wait and see really. Shite day!

Oh no I hope everything is ok, let us know of any updates. Can the epu not get you in and check you? Xx
