Appointments have Arrived!

Well I got my letter in to say my appointments have arrived. One for an ultrasound and then one for the fertility dr. Im really happy but frustrated they are two afternoons in a row. Making time off more significant as I have set holidays. What should I expect at each appointment?

Umm, if they are at the same place i would definitely get on the phone and speak to the receptionist and explain the situation to her. That's a bit thoughtless of them.

Your consultation will just be like any other really. Discuss your history, your results and where you go from there.

The ultrasound, assuming it will be an internal one, will be a long plastic stick that they put a condom on it and insert. Make sure you have an empty bladder, because they really move it around and it can be a bit tender. You walk in, undress below the waist behind a curtain and then lie on the bed and cover your lower half with the sheet.

Thanks Louise! For the ultrasound ive to not go to the toilet for 2 hours prior and drink 2 pints of water! Ive to have a full bladder! Ill be bursting Im terrible with going to the toilet!!
