Wondering if there are any mummies to be who suffer with IBS or similar.. last couple of days I had some urgent and loose movements. I have been eating weetabix every morning thinking I needed more fibre after being a bit constipated recently. Not sure if this is now too much fibre for me. Anybody got any suggestions of foods that will help keep me regular? It's getting me down :(

I suffer from IBS so I know how unpredictable it can be sometimes! My friends husband has it too and he did the same as you but it actually made him flare up. His doctor told him to cut weetabix out as it was too much fibre!
Maybe try that and see if it helps? X

I suffer with ibs (the loose kind) but it seems to have calmed since pregnant, but just before i got pregnant i started drinking actimel once a day and that seems to have helped loads too, could be worth a go for you xx

I may have.
I’m being investigated for possible ulcerative colitis.
My GP sent me to one hospital and saw them last week who said it looks to be colitis but I now need to be seen by a specialist so now I’m waiting for referral to come through.

Thanks everyone, I'm definitely gonna cut out the weetabix and see if that helps. I have always struggled with it and had investigations for ulcerative colitis as my dad has it, they said I had mild inflammatory bowel disease. Hoping once I chill out after my first scan it'll settle down! X
