I tried to find mine the other day and couldn't so think it's moved - doesn't help having a massive bump in the way! got OH to have a feel for it but he didn't have a clue

Yeah it is, sometimes it's a bit higher or lower depending on your time in the cycle, as I said though gawd knows what it's like in pregnancy. Some people find it easier to put one foot up on the loo and feel it that way as it kind of compresses it a bit x

yep, a pack of dairylea is 10 cms

im a wee bit scared now - I knew 10cm was fully dilated - but never quite put that into "size of a ....."

i'll be honest i tried it.. & made oh have do some research about it on internet & got him to have a rumage around too!.. i could feel it & it felt soft & felt like a whole in the middle but couldnt stick a finger in.. (it was asif a whole with thin layer of what i can only describe as like clingfilm over the top) so didnt go any further.. & when oh had a feel he said the same too! but he could reach better than i could.. that was about a week ago & since then ive tried & i cant reach it any more.. if your gonna try it then dont feel ashamed or anything, it is your own body at the end of the day but do wear latex/surgical gloves so no infection can get to it xx

I haven't tried to touch my cervix but sometimes I stick a finger up there if I have pains. Mainly because I have this fear of going on the toilet one day and squeezing to push a poop out but giving birth instead So whenever I'm on the toilet and have a feel, I always expect to feel Grace's head
It happened to a girl in my area!

I think I'll leave my fan-fan alone for now, but one thing I definitely want to do when in labour (if I have a chance to) is to reach down and feel Grace's head, that would be amazing. xxx

Well I have not deliberately tried but know it's far back and not moved yet so will leave it alone for now. OMG I can't stop thinking of the dairylea box! U girls crack me up!!!

it will be interesting to see if you can tell how dilated you are if it opens up to the size of a cheese tub lol

I tried it last night but don't think i could reach it. Am i right in thinking you need to put your fingers up until you hit something that won't let you go any further? If that's the case there's no way i can reach it!! xxx

when i was in labour my mw said 'do you want to feel babies head' of course i said yes x she grabbed my hand and shoved it up my foof!!!! OMG i thought she meant coz his head was ready to pop out! lol took me by suprise!
