Since when i woke up this morning i have had joint pains and twinges down my left leg.

I have NEVER ever experienced anything like this and i haven't done anything to exert myself.

The pains started down my left leg as soon as i woke up, from my hip downwards and although it wasn't painful, i didn't want to walk during it and it was zingy - like when you bite down on foil.

They have reoccurred about three times during the day, lasting about 3 or 4 secs each. I thought maybe i'd somehow just hurt my leg without noticing.

However, now my left wrist is doing the same down my thumb. It feels warm and zappy but it is more constant as i type.

As far as i am aware i don't think it's a sympom of pregnancy, but at the moment it's the only thing i can remotely think of because like i said i've never had anything like this in my entire life and i'm a bit concerned.

Anyone?

I know google is going to tell me it's a early pregnancy symptom!

Everything is an early pregnancy symptom on google :)

Pregnancy symptom: Leg cramps

It's quite common for women to suffer from leg cramps during pregnancy and you might notice it a lot more in the early stages. This has been linked to having less calcium in your blood because it's being taken by the baby!
What else could it be? Straining a muscle or being cold, especially at night, can cause the muscles in your legs to tense and spasm.

i found this for yah??

I think you should get to your docs as numbness like that could be anything better to be safe and all that xxx

....sorry I meant to say numbness, sharp pains, tingling etc etc could be anything xxx

You're eeeeeeeevil!

I found this:
Joint pain is noticed as early as the first trimester of a woman's pregnancy and is due to the surge of hormones that occurs immediately after conception. The hormone relaxin that is produced to loosen joints, ligaments and muscles during pregnancy and childbirth can actually cause joint pain.

Thanks for the advice Geminiblue. If i still have it tomorrow i'll definately give them a call - i'm typically the type that doesn't seek medical aid until i'm in the back of an ambulance :oooo:

I was hoping that there might be someone who had the same and then got a BFN or a BFP. Google is dangerous

I never realised just how many signs of pregnancy that there is untill I googled it. Surpose pregnancy much change a womans body so much, but it is amazing.

In all honesty i'm a bit freaked out by the impact it seems to have. I used to just think about the birth being the main concern, but it seems to really screw people over haha :)

I couldnt even think about the pain of birth haha. How long have you been trying for ???

Only just started, so i have't got the experience to know what symptoms i get before i get a BFN so that i can ignore them the next cycle :)

I'm having all these symptoms and have no idea if it means i'm pregnant or not.

I had terrible joint pain from the start with Jude, a tingling which was sciatica and the ligaments playing up and also something called Intercostal Condritus which is a muscle under the edge of the rib which is strained or the ligament that holds that muscle in place stretchin....it was agony so to have the tingling/sharp pains in one side of your body? should be looked into babes, I understand that you may wait til last minute but you want to make sure that if in fact you are pregnant that you are fit and healthy hey up to you though hun big hug and thinking of you xxx

what symptoms have you been having??
I started to feel really tired about a week later and had a really funny pain/feeling in my tummy. So I had a noisy on symptoms on the internet and eekk theres loads. I might just be thinking to much into but I dont usually feel like this before im due on!!!!

Ohhhh loads of them - i'm sure the whole forum is aware of all my symptoms by now haha :)

The main things since my ovulation are tiredness to the point of needing naps during the day, abdominal pains similar to ovualtion since 7DPO, cervical twinges, terrible bloating, feeling warm and now joint pains.

They're all in my ttc journal.

There does seem to be lots of ttc members suffering from valid symptoms - are we all pregnant? Not likely, unfortunately :(

Thanks again Geminiblue :) I really appreciate your input. I am ok with my ribs but maybe sciatica - it is one side of my body now you mention it. It says caused by swelling of uterus or baby weight, must be the former for me if anything. How early did you experience it?

You know it was only the other day me and a friend were discussing how lovely the name Jude is :)

Thank for the concern Pinkysmum :) I didn't go to the doctor in the end because by the next day the sharp zappy spasms had stopped and my remaining aches are nothing I haven't experienced before.

Sorry to hear you are suffering from similar - it cerainly wasn't a pleasant sensation. Have you been to the docs?

Yeah,
