Anyone on fluoxetin while ttc? Or other antidepressant?

I have been ttc for what feels like forever! 3 years in September! I'm 21 and have been prescribed fluoxetin to help with depression. Has anyone else been ttc or pregnant while taking antidepressants? Xxx

I was put on fluoxetine a couple of months back (its the safest during pregnancy). I knew I needed them and was reluctant whilst ttc but I knew I couldn't carry on feeling awful when I don't know how long it will take to get pregnant again. I was assured that it was safe to take whilst ttc and the risks in pregnancy are so low. I will stop them once I get pregnant (with advice of GP) but for now I think its the right thing. My friend had a baby recently and she was anti-depressants for the entire pregnancy as they did risk over benefit to decide. Her baby is perfectly healthy xx

Thankyou, I had to stop taking them after three days as they made me really sick. Just gotta find a new way to cope! Counselling is useless! X
