Provera worries

Hi,

I've been TTC for a while now but don't have periods due to PCOS. I recently had to get some provera to bring on a bleed and the doctor only gave me three days worth when the last time I had it (several years ago) I was given about a weeks worth.
The leaflet that came with the tablets said that most people taking it for missing periods will be given 5-10 days worth so I'm wondering if anyone has had experience of taking it for only 3 days and then having a period afterwards?
I'm just a bit worried that there may have been a clerical error with the prescription as it's been several days and I haven't had a period.

Has anyone else been given it for 3 days only?

Hey Sarily,

I am sorry but I know nothing about provera (didn't want to read and run...), I suggest you speak to your Dr about it.
