anyone need to see doctor after having bloods done

I saw midwife on tuesday and said i had been getting painful braxton hicks so maybe i had a water infection so she checked my urine and it had protein in so she sent it off and took my bloods as she did my 28 weeks appointment week early save me going back, well doctors rang me yesterday saying i had blood in my urine but no infection so have to do a repeat sample then she said i have to see the doctor about my blood results, and made me an appointment for tuesday morning, i said oh it will just be i;m anaemic she said well yes you are but you really need to see doctor to discuss your results. with my last pregnancies if you were anaemic you just got letter saying to get a prescription from the doctor, so i asked my friend if they had changed the way they did things she said no she just got letter the other week saying the same. I have been feeling really tired and ill and put it down to all the kids having chicken pox, but maybe its cause i am anaemic,if it was that badsurely they would want to see me before tuesday but why not see me now to give me the iron tablets as soon as possible instead of leaving it nearly a week. anyone else have to go to doctors cause of full blood count result

First time I got a letter with the prescription through the door. Second time I had to book an appointment with the doctor to discuss results....turned out I jut needed more iron, that's it. I wa pissed cos I was like "really? Why not just send the letter again".

For urine they asked me for a second sample and then never got back to me. Now I have had more sent of and have to wait and see howthey are going to contact me this time...grrr.
