Anyone live in/been to Bournemouth?

Hi!

Am arranging a friend's hen weekend in July (will be 5 1/2 months pregnant ) and we're looking for a fun club to go to on a Friday night which plays 70s/80s music. Don't want anywhere to 'cool' as we're more into mucking about on the dance floor than standing around looking too cool for school!

Anyone have any recommendations for me please?

I'm went to bournemouth 2 weeks ago for a hen, we went here http://www.thelandmarc.com/. It was an Abba night when we went but they do all sorts of different nights best thing to do is ring them and ask what is on thew date you are going to Bournemouth. We went all out and had food there too. The food was ok and the music chessy (just what you need on a hen!) but it was a great venue that you didn't need to leave and could spend all night at. They had a discio after the act and there were quite a few hen parties and similar. It was cheese on toast and perfect for a hen night, not the usual place I would go but it served its purpose well.
