As the title says really.

I saved the bottom tier from my wedding cake all wrapped up in foil still iced and in an airtight cake box. Im planning on using it for Maia's naming day. The cake will be 2 1/2 years old.

Anyone know if it will be ok?

I thought they could last to infinity and beyond

Don't people usually save some of their wedding cake for use at a christening/naming day don't they. I suppose you could try it and see what it tastes like and have a shop bought one just in case!

Hahaha!!! :rotfl:   :rotfl:

They will keep for AGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS as long as it is a rich dark fruit cake with loads of sugar and alcohol in it.

We still have our one and we will have been married 5yrs in June.... dont ya love family being all over so you cant sort out a christening for your now 2.5yr old!

Thank you, so fingers crossed it will be ok.

Going to ask the lady who made it to re-ice it with something appropriate for Maia so will be able to test it out before giving it to our guests.

Thanks Maria
