I had a couple - they are usually done before 12 weeks as sac can't be seen on an external one. They place a lubricated probe up your vagina to see into your womb. It's painless. They then move it around to see the sac and hopefully a heartbeat. Xx
Yes I did its all very simple and quick. Got undressed behind a screen and then covered myself with a blanket on the bed. The sonography literally peeked to put the probe in and done! Was uncomfortable when he moved it cause he had to check my ovaries too etc so twisted the thing but was fine xx
Thanks ladies he said he could see something but not clear enough so would need the internal I feel a bit better now still worried though! In a way I wish they'd have done it then so I didn't have time to think about it!
