Anyone had the contraceptive rod?

I've had the rod in my arm for contraception. When I had it inserted I had been on my first period since birth for 4 days. Ive been warned about the contraceptive rod causing irregular bleeding and now it has been in 10 days. Im bleeding but I'm unsure whethery period is just lasting longer cos it's my 1st. Is it normal to bleed for longer than 2 weeks with the first period?xxxx

When started the patch i bled for 4 full weeks x

I had a
Constant period for 3 months then doc put me on pill, came off and constant bleeding again do had it removed :/

I constantly bled on the implant too, although my first one was fine. The 2nd one I would bled for 3 weeks then have a couple of days free then bleed again for 3 weeks. Had it in for almost a year before having it taken out xx
