anyone had any bladder damage after pregnancy?

Sorry not baby related but I can't seem to find any info or anything similar to the pain I get in my bladder. I started gettig it around 36 weeks pregnant (so like 18 weeks ago) and still have it everytime I go for a wee. I have NO incontinence with it at all, just stinging, burning and a weird inflated feeling when I go

I have an appt but not til august and I just wana know if anyone else has had it? They've said its possible damage from babys head as it was so big during pregnancy

Also I had a planned c-sec not a natural delivery.

Its very odd and bloody annoying!

sounds like one of 2 things one - urine infection number 2 - prolaspe x x x

My urines been sent off to the lab 3 times and its all clear of infection and I thought with a prolapse you could kinda feel it 'hanging" low? I'm panicking now??!! Ahh xxx

not always hunni, could be a few other things like skin infection or a form of sti best thing my sister who is a nurse said is get checked out either by a doctor or gum clinic x x x

Is there no way you can get an earlier appointment? At least that way you might be able to sort things out a bit sooner, and hopefullly stop you worrying. I have been having problems, but not quite like what you describe. Have been told that some women's bodies change quite a bit as a result of pregnancy and giving birth, and they can take a long time (sometimes forever) before they return to 'normal'. X

Thats the nearest one Nic, which is ridiculous but theyre obvs not worried otherwise they would have sent me an emergency one, they said sometimes a heavy baby can squash the tube, so wondered if anyone had experienced that before

I didn't feel back to 'normal' for ages with peeing, but I had 3 in out catheters and then they left it in til just before birth. I had an epi so I think I.may have had some irritation/damage from the catheterisations but wouldn't have felt it! U would have had a catheter too I'm assuming so mayb something similar? I didn't get stinging but it was hard to empty fully and it was uncomfortable for quite a while! Other thought is did they damage ur bladder during the c-section at all??? I was prepped for c-section (and didnt need it in the end) but remember reading it as a risk on the consent form. I would have thought they'd have checked it and told u if that was the case tho! Hope u get it sorted soon hun xx

I've had the pain since I was pregnant, so before the catheter or operation which is what is weird!

I'm gonna ring doctor tomorrow and ask whether I should be waiting that long for appt xxx
