I am really uncomfortable when I have a wee, its not burning or stinging but feels like Ive got a cricket ball in there - in my bladder! It hurts when Im draining urine and I can feel it when I walk and when I sit on a hard chair its iuncomfy too. My OH and MIL both reckon its a pulled muscle but they drive me mad because I know it isnt!
Just wondering if I have got a UTI ot wether my uterus isnt giving my bladder much room; its more on the right side too very low down. I think I'll ring the surgery tomorrow if it isnt better but I wanted to share it with you guys because someone out there might have experienced the same thing :)

Thanks for reading :)

sorry cant help you there ive not had anything like that before, i know when ya preg something gets bigger so cud be stretching maybe??

or you prob need a longer wee or something lol i dont know.

if your not sure poss ring the midwife may be better an say your concerned, im hoping its nothing major for you hun and gud luck, sorry ive not been much helpxx

Hi, I had this a few weeks ago and thought it was baby lying on bladder! Its fine now as babe has moved up. Hope its not an infection but you should get it checked out if your worried. Hope it eases soon x

it is worth getting a sample checked at the GP's as mine started off as a very strange feeling

Thanks everyone - I increased my fluids yesterday and found that it really hurt when my bladder got full, its better this morning. I have been tilting my pelvis up and back when I have a wee as this helps the bladder to empty completely apparently, I have noticed a difference when doing this. I'll see how it goes this morning and possibly ring the doc later, rather annoyed with my midwife who was supposed to phone me yesterday to arrange my booking in app - the second time she hasnt called when she said she would!

that is a bit naff... where is mamafy's bat? ;)

I saw her today in passing at the doc's = she said she would call me on Monday so we'll see

I have been to see the doc armed with a urine sample, it was clear, he felt my tummy and said its most likely my bladder being squashed a little bit. I decided to go as I was having coffee with my mum, she started telling me about her ectopic pregnancy that ended up with her having an ovary removed and I had three really big stabbing pains low down on the right - how weird, must have been sympathy pains or something! Anyway she made me phone the doc. It has been really painful though, when I sit down is the weirdest one, it feels like I have a cricket ball in there. I just want my uterus to rise up from under my pubic area, perhaps that will relieve it.

I hope she does ring you on monday - thats really bad as booking in app are supposed to be done by 10 weeks at the latest - keep on if she doesn't - very naughty and frustrating. Hope your feeling a little more comfortable today.

Thanks you guys - yes I am frustrated with my midwife, she is too laid back for sure. I am feeling a bit better but still getting the cricket ball feeling! I think it should improve in a couple of weeks perhaps, just hope its not hurting when I have my scan and have drunk a litre of water, I wont be best happy!

Yeah I was about to say the same. You've been left quite a long time with no assessment. Its not good. Hope your midwife pulls her finger out, you've got a scan to get booked!!!

Tiny I cant wait for my scan, Im getting impatient! I just want to know that everything is well and in the correct place - have you got your scan pic up yet?

no Ive given up putting the pic up, keeps on failing. Ill give it another go in a bit, Im not emotioanlly strong enough to do it now!! ;)

Yeah I know what you mean, the scan will really reassure you. I was so convinced there was no baby it felt like an eternity before she said anything or turn the screen round!!!

Good luck with the midwife! x

Hope you feel better soon Rosie's Mummy, perhaps your having a Baby and a Cricket ball! -JJ

Hope she calls hub and hope it's settling down

Thanks again guys - yes it has settled down but and strangely enough its coincided with a spurt of growth, my tummy is now sticking out and my jeans are tight tight tight. Also going to have to buy some maternity bras this week!
