Anyone for a group moan?

Hiya!

I am soooo tired just been reading Emma58's post and can totally sympathise! My house is a tip, the dog needs walking and I was sposed to go and see my Gran but all I can manage is to get to bed...the stairs are starting to take it out of me as well!

I have also noticed that the skirting boards are full of muck where dog has come in from field...but I just can't be bothered..WHERE IS MY NESTING INSTINCT!!

Also I just haven't had ANY twinges or ANY Braxton Hicks I think baby is gonna be in there forever, he just isn't for coming out..also he is huge.

I also weighed myself (said I wasn't gonna do) and this has now made me feel horrendous

How is everyone else doing?

My little nap was lovely and I should have woken up and done another little job but I haven't done a thing apart from fold some washing!

This forum is becoming way too addictive

As for the nesting instinct I think I have about 2 days a week where I go cleaning mad and become obsessed with doing everything the other 5 days I feel like I do today.

Also I will have to do the whole labour without my mum or hubby with me I learnt today So I will be literally on my own in the labour room giving birth

Also still waiting for a new car as some young bimbo wrote my car off 5 days before i was due, Great timing huh

My mum had booked off a floating week from work ( she lives 2 hours away from me ) so as soon as i went into labour she would come down for the week. She and hubby was with me for both my girls labours.

Well her work have booked her on a work course for tuesday and she has tried everything to get out of it. Her work have turned around and said she cannot miss it or they will charge her the fee of the course

Also my inlaws have never been interested in my girls but have offered to have them. Both me and my hubby know they will not go to their home while im in labour. I would prefere happy girls though than a happy me. I dont want them resenting the baby.
So my mum cant get down till after her course on Tuesday, hubby will have to look after the girls. So its on my tod it is

the friends I have all have their own kids. I have only 1 friend that I would either trust with my children or maybe even brave taking her into the labour with me. All depends on what time it is and if she has her kids or if her hubby is off that day.

Lmao maybe I shouldnt of got started on the moan thread today. You can tell this lateness has really got my hormones racing

aw, i hope you manage to sort something. i'd be on my own if it wasn't for OH - there's only 1 other person i'd have with me and she's in san francisco...!

that would be a long journey to take. Im sure she would love to though.

Its strange really you class many people as your friends but when you are put in the situation like this it shows you how many you honestly really fully trust. Either for your childrens sake or to see us in such states

Aww, Beth, that's terrible. Is there absolutely no way you can leave the kids with your OH's parents?

My only option is if I go into labour at Night. We will get one of them over here so the Girls will wake up without us here so they have no choice.

I was going for a homebirth till my horrible midwife said she would be coming out to do the birth That put me off that idea lol

I would probably say something I shouldnt when im in labour to her

My nesting has seriously kicked in but im suppose to be on bedrest to keep my low water from going any lower, but everywhere i look i can see dust or somwthing that needs cleaning/fixing.

There's only soo much hubby can/will do with me giving him orders.

must admit i had to vacume today and had a panic attack after it.

plus im soo bored with all the resting! Im used to being on the go and if bubs wasnt breech i would be trying to get myself in to labour.

Must admit have just been asleep all afternoon and am feeling a little better for it (perhaps coz it's now darker and can't see the dust and muck!) although probably wont be able to sleep tonight and will be more upset tomorrow!

Poor Beth, could you not just have the homebirth with the horrid midwife, at least hubby would be there with you and supposedly another nicer widwife? Just think if you were at the hosp alone with another horrid midwife to cope on your own.

I also feel like am gonna be posting on here forever with my ticker measuring 50 weeks!!!!
