I came off the oral pill contraceptive a couple of months ago. I had a full month charting and have had a normal month. I have a 34 day cycle. I ovulated at day 20. From 5-13 days post ovulation I spotted daily. Then my temp dropped on my chart and my AF came that day. Pretty light. The next day I had light bleeding and then nothing. My temp came down so I know I’m not pregnant and I did bleed for one day. I’ve been regular with 5-6 days of bleeding in the past. I’m 35 now. Has anyone else experience this??

I haven’t, but I have heard that it can take serveral months for your periods to get into a proper rhythm again after coming off the pill. If you’re concerned, might be worth having a chat with the doctor, to settle your mind if nothing else.
My periods came back to 28ish days after the 2nd month of being off the pill. (I was on it for 10 years.) However, after 8 months of being off the pill, I started getting spotting before periods which had never happened before and have been getting that pretty much ever since. Asked the doctors about it but they didn’t seem worried about it. Hope it all settles for you soon. X

It can take anything from 6 to 12 months to settle after contraceptives. Can also be deceiving I had a couple of normal seeming months and then things chopped and changed for a couple months before settling down.

Sadly it's just a waiting game but just keep charting so you know where u are at and roll with it. Good luck

Thanks both for your replies.

Good to know that it is to be expected.

All the while my flow is shorter, does that effect ovulation and my probability to conceive?
