I know I'm only 7 weeks but I can't help it! I've already started looking at nursery furniture, pumps, prams etc :) OH is so excited he would paint the nursery tomorrow if I let him but I'm stopping us from buying anything until 12 weeks.

Found a lovely nursery set in Ikea, hoping they still sell it in a couple of months time :)

xx

i've not even got a BFP yet and i've got my eye on stuff already!

i won't let myself buy anything for LO until i'm safely passed 13weeks but it doesn't hurt having stuff in mind  :D

I'm almost 12 weeks but I've been window shopping for a while. My dear old mum on the other hand has bought a long list of stuff. There's toys, clothes, baby monitor and steriliser. I should point out that the last 2 items were bought with Boots points that she's scared of losing if they go the same ways as Woolworths etc.

On the subject of Ikea furniture, are you talking about the Leksvik range? If not have a look at it as I was browsing it in the shop last night and figured that for circa £450 we could have a 3 door wardrobe, high cabinet, cot, shelf, toy chest, cabinet with drawers & changing table top. I'll upload a pic if you want.

I very nearly bought a babygrow set in Matalan yesterday - they have some cute stuff and it's cheap!

However I refrained as I'm waiting until after my scan next week.

However when I was poking about in Tri2 yesterday (naughty I know) I saw a post that someone was waiting until after 20wk scan before buying stuff - I don't think I can wait that long!

I've been looking at cots etc for ages - found one I really like but at £350 I don't think I'll ever be able to afford it! It's one of those that turns into a toddler bed so will last until the baby is 5.

I've bought an old rocking chair from ebay though - collecting it on Sat and then we'll spray it to give it a new lease of life - £15 - what a bargain. I keep looking for cots on there but none in my area - people in Cornwall tend to just pass stuff onto friends and family I think!

I am a pram obsessive which is funny since my DS hated it from day 1 and I still have to carry him all he time as he screams the place down in his stroller but refuses to walk - toddlers, tsssk!
Still, the first thing that came in my head after BFP was yeeeees I can look at prams again!!!
Already on the web having a nosey!

Still going to have to work on hubby to let me buy a Bugaboo!!!

I dont really believe in the myth about not having a pram in the house untill baby is born. With my first son I bought his buggy when I was 5 weeks pregnant & bought everything else within a couple of months, by 5 months I had EVERYTHING :rotfl: not much that I need to buy for this pregnancy as Ive got everything still from my son.

Me!!!
Looking and browsing at loads of stuff.
Saw a pram in the sale last week, after some on-line investigations it seems a really really good price so I'm heading back this week and if its still there and had been priced correctly I'm gonna buy it. I love it and its cheap!!!

I am always looking at things lol, I especially LOVE looking at pushchairs. I even know what one I am getting :rotfl:

I must admit I was looking at things before BFP too

I've not bought anything as of yet, but my friend has just donated unisex clothes, toys and a cot!! :D

Not loads, but we'll leave at my mum and dad's probably as they're 60 or so miles away, and we do stay there (or will stay there) quite a lot I reckon. We've got quite a lot of family that are close but not close enough to go down and see then come back again. Plus we've got an awesome tent I want to use in the future

haha it will come in handy then :)
i could never find a travel cot at a good price so used to lug the crib everywhere on the odd occasion i stayed anywhere.
now id just put him in the bed with me!!
let us no if you win it
xx

Yes I was! It's gorgeous isn't it! I've also now found a cot, changer unit and wardrobe coming to £240 at babies 'r' us. Was really impresses with the Leksvik range though, looks lovely and such a good price!
