Anyone else in cycle 1 of ttc

Hi,
I new to this forum, this is my first month ttc, currently on cycle day 7. Just wondering if anyone is in same position? Trying so hard not to obsess over it already but its all i can think about! So excited for what could happen. X

I was stupidly lucky and fell second cycle for both my first and this baby. It really is luck though. A healthy couple can take up to a year so don't get disheartened.

NHS says "Most couples (about 84 out of every 100) will get pregnant within a year if they have regular sex and don’t use contraception."

I know but it's so frustrating isn't it! We covered (BD) the whole month (lol) and so it's hard to see how it hasn't happened. I realise there's more involved in the process but first time trying I was stupidly over optimistic that I'd be in the lucky few that it happens straight away. Will keep on trying

I'm on my first cycle too.

I'm on cycle day 20 just about to enter the two week wait. I'm hoping it doesn't drag but know it will as I can't think of much else :/

It's okay I'm looking forward now to our BFP now. I know it will happen when the time is right. It's weird waiting for AF isn't it? Probably the only time I will be hoping it arrives. I'm about CD 31/32 and it feels like forever.

I know what you mean - knew I wasn't pregnant yet AF was taking her bloody time! It arrived this morning, so looking forward to getting started again this cycle.

I'm also new and on 1st proper cycle - currently CD21 and having real problems with all the abbreviations I don't know what AF means or BFP, feel like I'm failing at this already lol.

I am now waiting to see if period turns up around 6th May... I've done LH tests and never been positive but know that you can easily miss the window - that being said I've not got a lot of faith in knowing when my ovulation date is yet. Just using Natural Cycles and seeing what happens! It says I ovulated on the CD17

AF is Aunt Flow and BFP is Big Fat Positive as BFN would be Big Fat Negative. LOL you will get it if you hang around long enough

Haha, thanks! I'll go back and re-read posts now as it will all make sense! My AF is usually 4 days. I'm due Sunday 6th so will just wait and see if it turns up and test if it doesn't. So easy to drive yourself insane with wanting to know but off on holiday for a few days, arriving back on the 6th and picking up our puppy so hopefully brain will be on other things.

Smithybaby - it's so lovely reading back to you waiting for your AF when there was a little egg in there after all! Congratulations Hope I can catch this time round.. CD5 today. 6 more days of holiday and kinda want to get home as I didn't bring my LH or thermometer with me and I don't want to have another month of it not happening!
