Hi all! My second DD was diagnosed by an eye specialist at the hospital with Albinism (Albino) last year. You would never guess she has super pale skin but mousy hair and blue eyes the same as her older sister. Anyway she is fine she doesnt have any eye problems and appart from needing suncream the Albinism has no impact on her life.
Anyway to have Albinism both parents need to carry the gene! Which gives us a 1 in 4 chance of the next bundle of joy also having it. (Their older sister doesnt). Ad the next child could have it in any severity.
Anyone else have a chance of passing on an unusaul gene?
