anyone else about 8 weeks?

Hi there people,

I am new to this!!

i was wondering if anyone might want to chat? I found out I was pregnant at the beg of April and i think it would make a december baby.

i had a miscarriage last nov and so am feeling a bit jittery but trying not to panic. Feeling different this time as the last week or so, started feeling sick at various times of the day and strong smells are making me feel ill. I had to stick the dishwasher on, empty the bins first thing this morning and keep the back door open.

How else is anyone feeling?

Hello! I found out i was expecting on 7.4.11, and I am due 16.12.12 or there abouts! I had a mc in Oct and another in Jan so I am just as jittery as you! Glad you have a few more symptoms this time! xxxx

Yeah thanks, although I don't want to dwell on the past too much, probably the same as you!. I worked out I would be due about 8th Dec, this would be my first one, although we have been planning for 16 months now.

How are you feeling?

I have been rather symptomless although I do think I have had a few waves of nausea a few times today and yesterday though! yay to some symptoms! I am feeling ok, a bit tired but apart from that just really worried and on edge, thinking every ache and twinge is bad news! This will be our second and very much planned little one! xx

It is weired as i can't bring myself to get excited yet until we get to the first scan and can actually see the little pest! Last year both of us got so excited we told everyone before the scan and then found out the terrible news. It made it worse as we then had to tell everyone what happened - so I won't be making the same mistake this time round.

It is diffiult because there is no one I can speak to and my partner works away during the week so I am at home alone in the eve's.

Tiredness and insommnia, how does that work??!!...

hiya im 8 weeks on saturday due 8th december welcome to pf , i had a mc last may so its been a rough few weeks for me with worrying etc but i had an early scan and i seen my little dot with a heartbeat yey and have another on the 9th may cant wait, have u rang ur local epu for a scan for reasurance? im so tired all the time sickness is afternoon to early evening and my boobies are killing me but hey ho all the fun hey hehe all worth it, be glad to chat with ya xxxx

Hi - can you request an early scan? I spoke to my doctors this week and she said I had to wait until 12 weeks until I could get scanned and I kind of just have to get on with it and forget about the MC. How wonderful that yours came back all OK; I just hope and pray that would be the same for us. It is really weird because last pregancy I did not have a worry and just thought that everything wold be OK, this time I am trying to remain positive and the times when I am not feeling sick, I panic!

We must be exactly the same how wonderful.. 8 weeks tomorrow... woop woop!

oh wow we are all due the 8th december hehe, last yr wen i mc my epu told me wen i fall again i should ring and they will scan me so i did just that and they arranged a scan they were gonna do it at 6 weeks but i said no would rather be 7+ then i know by then there should be a heartbeat n a tiny baby, i get another the 9th may yey hehe, i have neevr worried about any of my pregnancies and i have 6 children and had 2mcs but this time im a wreck and tbh last yr i didnt realy have any symptoms at all i think it was a very weak pregnancy from the off and it was doomed from cenception but this time omg i have had every symptom going i think its little bean telling me dont worry its all fine awww and im sure ur bean is just fine also xxxx

My symptoms have also improved last day or so! First baby so am not sure! I will be so relieved once I have my scan at around 12 weeks and know baby is ok then I hope I will start to enjoy pregnancy!

Hi Hun, I'm a couple of days behind you! first scan on tuesday but going private after my mmc last year, docs won't give me one on nhs. I've got sore swollen breasts and the odd queasy moment, that and being tired and crampy and my symptoms! great to have a few of us round the same time

Oh good there is loads of us, and it sounds like we have all had MC so have the paranoia in common. Great stuff that both of you have had successful scans, and also fingers crossed for the one on Tues, I kind of wish I had one now! still trying to remain positive. If feeling tired, waves of feeling sick, not being bothered to cook, can't decide on what to eat, incredibly sore boobs and snappyness are symptons, then I reckon my bean is coming along quite nicely...lol!

fingers crossed, hopefully i will get an appointment with the Midwife this week and maybe they might ask me for the scan a week or so after that. the wating is killing me!

Christmas babies...how exciting for all of us...
