Is anyone else starting stims? I am starting my gonal f today. Seems very quiet on the ivf front in here.

I am on gonal f and cetrotride. Gonal f is fine as its a pen, but not looking forward to the cetrotride as I have to mix that one. I start with the cetrotride friday. So are u on the long protocol? Xx

I think cetrotide is to stop you ovulating all the eggs, gonal f and menopur r both stims so maybe I will have both or just one, short protocal I think but don't know yet. I will need to check my gonal f wasn't aware it was a pen. It's my 2nd go so I'm relaxed about the injections, the cetrotide is pretty easy don't worry xxx

Little tip there's step by step videos on you tube if u panic but honestly I was so nervous of doing things wrong but really it's pretty easy xx

Nope just checked and its not in a pre loaded pen just individual needles and a mixer, ah well x

I have my 1st side effect and hope I dont get many more. I have a dull headsche that I cant seem to shift and starting to feel bloated and a bit achy in the stomach. Do u suffer many side effects? X

Well I didn't on puregon but could be different on gonal f and menopur, I'm suffering on this pill though hormones all over I'm getting really angry and agitated at the smallest thing, my husband was singing surprise surprise before and it was grating on me so much I wanted to punch him lol, poor wee sods only giddy for r hols tomoz so I've been having to take deep breaths and count to ten!! X

Started 2nd injection today(cetrotide), it wasn't as bad as I anticipated as I was worried about the mixing. I have a scan this morning to see how my folicles are doing, fingers crossed they are doing what they should.
