Anyone believe in psychics ??

We have a 20m old and ttc no 2 since February/March time. Fell straight away with the first, this is taking a little longer.

I am 39, 40 in March... That is in the back of my mind. Hubby is 30.

Each cycle BFNs.. Really getting me down, I know so many of you try for years and I really feel for you, as here I am after just a fraction of time and nothing, it's draining. Not sure how tou stay so positive when it takes so long..

Anyway.. We went to a family party in August and my aunt (host) likes psychics and mediums etc etc - i am a sceptic if i'm honest. But she had a psychic doing mini free readings. So my hubby went up and asked all sorts, and she seemed to know her stuff and got a lot of things spot on. So when she asked if there is anything you would like to ask me about your future.. He asked "am I going to have 3 more kids?", as he knows I want a big family (it was just a throw away question, i dont think he really thought about it, hes said 2 max. Anyway she answered quickly that he wouldnt have any more children.



Now if someone told me this story i would laugh and say 'what rubbish'... Which i did at the time.... But i am now constantly thinking maybe she was right.

Anyone ever seen a psychic ? Had a similar experience ??

I'm not sure if I believe in it all really and I have had mixed experinces with psychics! After about a year into ttc and feeling completely stuck in the medical model I felt I needed to bring a little bit of magic back to the whole experience so went to see a psychic! I ended up seeing 3 in the end, I think I would have just kept going until I found one who said what I wanted to hear
One wasn't very good at all and told me my marriage wasn't going to last as I was going to run off with an older man, which I just brushed off as my husband is my soulmate and there is no way I would ever leave him for anyone else! Anyway, the last one told me I was pregnant, which I didn't belive in the slightest and we'd been ttc for 15 months by that time and were having all types of commplications, we had an appointment at a priate fertility clinic that week to discuss starting IVF. But she was adamant and it turned out she was right!

So, I don't know, I think there can be some truth in it but I woudn't take anything as fact, particluarly from one off mini reading. How would you feel about going to see someone yourself? xx

I see psychic's every few years, and even though I'm quite 'into them' I still always take them with a pinch of salt!

I seen a psychic last May who was spot on with so many things, she knew things that only my hubby and I had ever discussed. She told me I'd sell my house on a whim very quickly by the end of the year and buy a 4 bedroom, I just laughed as it was something we weren't even considering. I ended up selling my house in 12 days and buying a 4 bedroom in the December! It wasn't until everything was signed that I remembered what she said and we had a good giggle about it. Lots of other things have come true as well. The final thing she told me is that I'd be pregnant by the end of this year with a little girl. She has this month to be right, so I'll get back to you on it

A few psychics have told me they only see into the next 3 years and anything beyond that isn't very accurate. I've always found that to be true. I seen another psychic in early 2012 and she told me she doesn't see any more children in the next 3 years for me, which was very true. So I don't always believe it when one says they never see something happening!

I would as I said, take what she said lightly. If you would consider it, I'd look into someone reputable and go see them yourself xx

I do psychic medium and clairvoyance development. So Id be a bit of a hyrocrite if I says I didnt believe

I get an abundance of silly mental notes, mini messages I call them and energy/vibe readings throughout the days and I myself dont deliver them always because they could be inaccurate or I could be interpreting it wrong, which is not uncommon. Plus I am still developing.

Some psychich mediums do read things, or deliver things wrong. Ive had a few readings not turn out to the T. I would say majority of my readings given have came true at some point or another. I would not pin all your life on one message. This is the reason sometimes there are things we refuse to disclose..

Messages/life changes depending on circumstances which change through choice. I get a reading every 6m and sometimes there have been differing things because something in my life unexpectedly changed.

Someone told me Id have 2 boys then a girl. Two boys looking like me feature wise but strawberry blonde hair (she hadnt seen OH). The next year Jackson was born with my face and his dads hair we are still awaiting the next two. But for example my next one could be a girl because I recently lost which was unexpected and not in my reading.. You see what I mean? Events can change. I previously was pregnant before Jackson and again was described a baby that sounded like Jackson with the hair etc, she gave me the age and said it was a she. This was a diff woman.

I think its sort of the reason we go, to get validation that our life will turn out how we want it. If its not looking that way change it. My last reading I was told Id move house and jobs which I had already moved jobs that year and laughed it off. Here I am the following year with a new house and job.

I record my sittings, it means I can recheck thoughout the year. I could give millions of messages thats turned out correct both from myself using my intuition or another worker.

If your serious about a reading, perhaps visit a psychic medium or clairvoyant for a proper reading. Dont mention babies unless she doesnt mention and at the end you are allowed to ask. I as a clairaudient/clairvoyant dont always trust these ones who do "mini readings" you cant decide someones future in 5 mins. IMO people who do real work for spirit dont charge. I dont mind paying for one at my house for a v small group, but we get like 1.5h readings...

If you are unsure, you may have a local spiritualist church which take only donation. They in turn give group messages or sometimes private for a lesser fee, for the running of the church. I went to my first church at 14. Still go. And its all escalated from there and I am now in their circle. But it always is a good taster for what you can expect. Some are too scared jump right im with a big private session. Oh and I wouldnt pay more than 35 per head if someone comes to your house. We are usually 25/30. This woman who does projection was the most costly at 50, but she was a 1 yr wait and very gifted.

She kept mentioning diabetes and I thought nothing of it. 3 weeks later I was diagnosed with it. I had a group reading and the things she said to my friends too were spot on. 1 has no accent but she knew she was Scottish. She also said I could do her job. I had the gift. Everyone has intuition and its that way in which spirit gives us messages.

We just have to be open and strengthen it.

Try doing some guided meditations for meeting your spirit guide and also can be found on youtube. I did it maybe 5 times before meeting my spirit guide. And its a verry surreal overwhelming beautiful feeling, also check if there are any spiritual churches or organisations which may hold development classes. Failing that there will be people around you doing workshops which you can take. Some do it on their own purely by meditation, it comes with time and dedication. Eventually once you habe that connection with spirit they will feed the information in whichever form.

If it is dreams you are having with messages in them it suggests clairvoyance as this means to see. There is also others clairaudient for hearing clairambient for energies and so on. Some have 1 gift, some are able to use more than 1. Have a read into the different clairs and gifts there are to see what approach you want to take.

The internet is a great way to get you started. You should do some google searches. Google and spirit know all. Some use tools like cards, crystals, some believe you dont need tools. Everyone develops differently. I started with angel cards and whilst attending my church I was doing guided meditations however in order for me to fully develop I needed to do this is a protected area, and with guidance. Ive been doing it a couple of years now. If you are serious anout it, a spiritual church is a good way to get you access to the knowledge for your next step from experienced mediums, who know your area etc well.

Most of my messages come through subtle during the day. Some are reptetive which are more urgent. If your having the same dream, thought it could be something spirit wants you to pay attention to. Its like we grow and shut ourself out from our higher consciousness. Babies can see, hear, feel spirit because their minds are so open.

I saw one that said I would have twins - only having one
I had a tarot reading that said I would soon meet my knight in shining armour and couldn't see babies any time soon - I am engaged, been with OH 5 years and got pregnant a few months later.
And saw one that said June would be a good month - had my 12 week scan in June this year.

I am 50/50 with things like this, some things they get spot on and other things totally wrong. Try not to let it play on your mind xx

I wouldnt be letting my hubby tell me where or where I wasnt going never mind him let me see a psychic. It also depends what you want, psychics connect with individual energy, clairvoyants and mediums connect with spirit. Quite different.

We are responsible for our own beliefs, everyone elses has nothing to do with anyone imo?

I wouldnt go and not tell him either, hes not your mum you shouldnt need to!

There is nothing wrong with exploring curiosity whether you believe or not.

LOL, It did sound alot worse then i meant it! Aha. He says its a waste of money, but my birthday is soon maybe ill ask for that! lol
My sister does tarot reading, last time she done a a reading for me we done it about 5 times and it keeps coming back with the same cards, I was going to have a problem with my foot, within the same year had to go and have an xray on it because it kept hurting to out pressure on it! Doesn't feel the same with your own sister doing it though lol ... But I want my palms read and i want to see a medium lol.
Apparently my dads new wife can see spirits, but i dont know, never said anything while i've been around, i'd love it if she did though, and was serious!

Ah I see, well make your mind up for yourself! Spiritualism isn't everyone's cup of tea. There are a lot of fakes about so I do under stand peoples uncertainty. I practice it and I still think Sally Morgan is fake, or at the very least exaggerated! I hear she has mics in the audience picking up info - but then I don't fully believe these reality things anyway.

Maybe speak to your Dads wife, see if she sees anything around you or picks anything up. Dip your toe in.. Couldn't hurt. If not there will be a spiritualist church/hall near you. They are fairly common now they are a good start if its something your not totally sure on. Some are scared of being lied to, some are scared of the message itself, some get scared of the reaction they may or may not have. So its always good. You could jump in and get your sister to organize a fun night at hers with a private reading

Are you wanting one at your house Kanga?

If your wanting one at your home, they mostly go by word of mouth from people - or you could google search private readings in your area, a few sites may come up and just have a wee enquiry how long theyv did it or whatever. A lot of my friends post for reliable people on facebook and people will comment and say. Id usually then go with the one thats most recommended, the name youv heard more than once.

I went to the church years before getting private readings at home, so I kinda knew some. Friends are good. Some spiritual churches offer private readings too - I get mine done in the church for £8 donation - it is only like 20-25 mins but its good for the price.

If you cant get any, give me a wee message what area you live, and Ill see if I can find any on some sites.
