Any one else got midwife home visit at 31 weeks?

Hiya guys, cant actually believe ive got this far and am still relatively sane (sort of)! The constant nausea has returned so am barely eating again.

Anyway got a letter in the post yesterday saying that the midwife wants to do a home visit ( i will be 31 weeks) apparantly to offer support in the decisions i make to feed our baby and preparing me for parenthood.

Is this normal? It seems a bit odd to me considering im seeing the consultant on thursday (28wks), midwife at 30wks and then again at 31wks. Im confused and not sure i understand.

hiya,ive never had a midwife visit me at home in all my 5 pregnancies,i wish they wud coz i can hardly move at min with my spd.its nice tho that their cumin out 2 c u,it wont b anything 2 worry about hun xx

I will get a MW appointment at home at 34 weeks... Will see the MW at 32 after seeing her at 29.5 weeks as well. Think it's normal for certain areas of the UK.

I did have a mw coming to visit me, but only because I couldn't go and see my normal mw as she was on holiday...

I also got a letter from a health visitor inviting me to come and see them. I did go and it was very useful - they just wanted to meet me, gave me some books to read, and answered all the questions I had about babies

maybe this visit is something similar?

hi i had miswife visit with both my previous pregnancies, they just come and have a chat with you offer advice ect.
