Any luck with Wellman pills?

Hi ladies, very new here, I am 27, DH is 42, DH has low sperm count 8 million with some motility problems (tests done before we met)- we are just ttc and want to give us a good chance, has anyone tried and had any luck with Wellman Conception pills?

Hi hun my Oh had low sperm count, with motility problems. We used his and her pregnacare conception tablets but also OH lost weight reduced alcohol intake and wore loose fitting boxers and only had showers. Total lifestyle change, it took us 8 months and we fell pregnant naturally, was saving up for ICSI but luckily never needed to. Hoping when trying for our 2nd things work out for us again. I think in the end we started to relax a bit more and I truley think that helped. But I think that taking the vitamins could have played a part. Good Luck xx

Aw thanks so much for your reply bidsy, really nice to hear a success story! I'm trying to be as relaxed as possible too because I've seen some of the awful stresses couples get themselves into (on lots of fertility message boards!) and I'm hoping I can be calm and relaxed about the whole thing - stress can really make your body physically messed up.
Your precious little baby looks gorgeous as well, congratulations to you xx We will definitely try the vitamins.

your welcome hun, thanks for saying that about Joseph he is so precious to us. I got myself in a right state as I never thought it would happen as OH had to have a reversal vasectomy so that we could have him. It had been 11 years since he had had the snip so outcome was said to be a slim chance of conceiving. I am 31 and DH is 41 btw so quite a big age gap similar to you. I had to take time off work when things were'nt happening as I work in a baby store and it was making me so sad but I didnt know that at that time I was actually pregnant

yes i think they work. my hubby had a low butstill in the "normal" range count and then he started taking wellman as i was taking the pregnacare conception ones and in 6 months he increased his count by 4 times! the doc was amazed. as well as the vitamins he stopped drinking, kept the laptop of his lap and no more roasting hot showers. if you know your partner has a low count make sure you are only having sex every other day, once a day is too much and wont give enough time to replenish the supply!!

Thanks ladies - AF came today, bummer Expected it though as we are just not having enough sex! We both work full time and are tired a lot so only managed once during ovulation this time, so didn't think there was much hope! Every AF always feels like another nail in the fertility coffin, even if you've barely been trying! We need to be doing every other day, definitely. With vitamins!

Ahh bidsy baby store sounds disastrous! I would feel so jealous of all the ladies coming in with their little ones! xx
