i coloured my hair with blonde xxl i had red on ends before i started now its yellow on top and orange at bottom what can i do? should i get and ash blonde and go over it so it tones down a bit? x

Buy some blue rinse. That'll take the brassy tones out I had platinum blonde hair and used blue rinse every wash. (just don't leave it for too long as your hair might go blue lol)

I'm a hairdresser! Basically I the ends ain't gonna lift to blonde unless u bleach...red is a hard colour to get out, if u cant get to a salon I would try a silver shampoo to take the brassiness away or an ash blonde toner over the top personally I wouldn't recommend messin about with those box colours they cant be trouble
If u were goin a salon depending on what u want think I'd go for some bleach highlights through the top & maybe a toner (violet is very nice more trendy than the ash) or more subtle look bleach highlights alternated with some of your natural colour. But defo a trim on them ends to get the red out...hope that helps x
