im 17 weeks and i felt baby move about a few times but nothing great.
i thought once u get to 14 weeks there was a lot of feelings but thats not the case.

when the baby realy starts moving, what is it suppose to feel like :eh:

when does the baby start moving around more?

does it hurt when they kick and act like ninjas?

do they use ur bladder as a punching bad as they get bigger?

any advice will be appreciated.

Movement usually starts from 16 weeks but some women don't feel it til 20+ weeks, especially in a 1st pregnancy.

It doesn't hurt, can b a bit uncomfy wen they get near ur ribs tho lol xx

I felt Devon's tiny flicks from 20 weeks, and they are getting a tiny bit stronger but not much now a few weeks on.

With my others, I felt nothing till 22 weeks with each, I never really recognised the flutters, did't want to label as a flutter when it might have been wind or rumbles!

Mine felt like someone on the inside giving me a gentle flick!

It will make a difference where your placenta is, which they can tell you at your 20 week scan, mine is on the front, so it takes some of the movement effect away, so I feel a bit less I think. (I only feel them at the top where feet are as baby was head down at scan!, and I guess past the placenta bit)

I personally love it when you get to the real kicks stage and baby moves, and your whole belly moves (you can clearly see it from the outside then) - stranges but great, (OH doesn't like the idea of the movement bit, I have to force him to feel later on when it does!).

i felt baby move really early every now and then but it has been regular and strong since aroun 16 weeks but everyone is diffrenent xx

I didnt feel my firrst baby move until after 20 weeks and it was like a little beat or flutter, whe i was having my second i would say i was about 18 weeks because i knew what the sensation felt like. When you get to your last few weeks and your baby is dancing in your belly at night, you will just ba grateful for the sleep lolx

ive felt mine since 16 weeks n its very strong now very regular it doesnt hurt it just uncomfy sometimes x

I still havnt felt anything, no kicks or flutters. saw midwifes in work the other day and in passing conversation mentioned this. they told me that as is my first baby may not feel anything for a while. she checked heartbeat and it was all fine. i mentioned that everyone was talking about it and was getting paranoid!! she put my mind at ease so feel bit better bout it all. if u worried u could always ask them to check for you but try not to worry xx

i felt mine from about 14wks for butterfly feeling and kicks from about 18wks thinking back but with my first didnt feel a thing till well gone 20wks

I was about 23 weeks when I felt her move properly. I had the odd flutter before then but nothing major. Like someone else has said- everyone is different.

I had flutters from 16 weeks and then my first proper kick at 19 weeks.

Love it!

I'm not feeling much yet - maybe the odd flutter but am not convinced they are the baby! Think it will feel really odd when starts properly kicking!

hi, this is my 1st pregnancy and i started 2 feel baby moving at about 20 weeks, but it feels more like wind than anything else lol! even now im 24 weeks and cant wait to start having the proper kicks, seems like i been waiting 4eva for it start!

hello! i can now distinctly notice baby movements rather than wind or whatever else, and im 21 weeks. youll start noticing it more as time goes on, its not yet painful for me! but it takes me by surprise sometimes lol x

I had some earliesh, but was never really sure, now this week I'm certain it's baby, not me!!
