...starting to get nervous now. Labour itself is making me feel nervous, pain, how I'm going to cope being a mum. Plus the fear that something will go wrong and either myself or the baby may die is also making me anxious...silly I know, but I can't help it.x

*hugs* it's going to be the best experience in the world. Labour is totally doable and it will be magical when you hold your little one. Fear is more controllable when you realise it's all for a good reason. You won't die hun and your baby will be perfectly safe. Look forward to the birth because it's amazing :) there's nothing to be scared of. Nothing will happen in that labour room that hasn't before x

Ps. It's not silly to be anxious but it won't help you in the long run. Don't let bad thoughts ruin this special time.

Hello honey. We all go through these emotions trust me. I've had all this an even said to OH if I die he better look after our baby. Sounds silly but at the time I meant it. It's ok, we will be ok! I have been so scared, and had a little cry to myself yesterday and I feel a lot better today. The scariest thing is it is going to be a different life after, but think how much fun it is teaching another little person the ways of the world! I can't wait to hold and look after and feed and change nappies. It's gonna be cool :) you'll feel ok in a little while. It's normal to think what if about everything. We are all in the same boat here, and are quite lucky to have each other I think! Think positive, I block out the negative thoughts that creep up now, because there's no turning back and we will be ok. Xxx

Thnaks girls. A year ago I suffered from terrible anxiety/panic attacks that were brought on by stress and the contraceptive pill (me and hormones don't mix!) One thing that scares me beyond belief is death, and I think all the hormone changes occuring now (prep for labour) are causing the anxiety problems.

Trying to live for the moment and not to over think! Tis nice that I can come on here and get support from some really nice peeps!xxx

You need to keep busy, it works for me. Time to think is not good for me since I started getting the same thing. Get out somewhere everyday too, it really helps. I know how you feel and it's the worst thing but it will pass x
