Hi Girls!

Well I just wanted to properly introduce myself to you all....

I've just found out I'm pregnant with my first yesterday, 2nd cycle TTC and I feel great, although it does all feel very surreal and I feel a bit worried whether that everything will be ok, I think, tri one is going to feel like forever, I just want the first scan to be now!

I'm off to the doctors soon so maybe I'll feel better after that?..

Did any of you girls here have blood test conformation or do they not really do that anymore?

Congrats to you all and I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about soon!

Congrats to you. I had no tests done whatsoever, bloods but not for pregnancy confirmation, scan was only real confirmation for me haha! So was wierd but hey! Yeah soca will reassure you, then midwife here we come! X

Well I do feel sure I am as I've done 2 First response and a Clear Blue diggi and this morning I got a positive on a less sensitive Tesco one so maybe I don't need a blood test?

I really can't wait for the scan! have you put a picture up?

Welcome and congratulations hun!Nice to see you in Tri 1. I never had a Dr's appointment either (apparently our Dr's surgery dont offer them anymore) so again the only confirmation I had was my scan on friday. Try not to worry too much hun, im sure everything will go smoothly, just enjoy the realisation that you have a little one on the way!Looking forward to chatting more xxx

Hey - fancy seeing you in here!

Ive just had my doctors appt today. He just updated all my records, told me what to eat, what not to eat, and told me about scans, etc. I have an appt with a midwife next week, when apparently, they do another urine test (they gave me a pot!), and start writing up your notes, etc.
It was more an appt to get the ball rolling, and to get you into the system - will become a lot more exciing when i see the midwife i reckon!

How are you getting on? Felt weird expecting af yesterday, and it never came!

Thanks for welcoming me!

Lea, Just got back from the doctors, and i'm feeling a bit unsure about things now, he was really really nice and said that the tests are really reliable and that there was no need to test again, and said congratulations and on the other had when I asked him about my implantation bleed he said that it could have been an early M/C and to test again in a few days....

I did a test before and it is still positive so I guess I'll have to wait a couple of days to be sure.

Fingers crossed all will be ok glad you got on well though hun xx

My bleed was 10 and 11 DPO and I got the BFP 14 DPO.

I've actually just called the doctors back and they are going to do blood tests now today and Wed so that should confirm things further hopefully.

I wouldnt worry to much as you are still testing positive but blood tests are a good idea to stop you worrying, which you will, every day till you hold your baby lol xx Let us know how you get on wont you x
