I have PCOS and we have been TTC for over 2 years. I am awaiting a dye test at the hospital to check my tubes and my husband has had his sperm checked (no problems there).

We've been using CBFM for 4 months and fell pregnant in the 1st month. Unfortunately we lost the pregnancy at about 2 weeks.

I normally have a 28/29 day cycle and have my ovulation peak between days 16 to 19 for at least 2 days.

This month I started to have dark brown clotted 'bleeding' and cramps on day 7. Only when i wipe and very light. 12 days later and i'm still getting clots and cramps every now then.

I continued to use CBFM through the bleeding and I peaked on days 11 and 12 (early for me).

Is it possible to ovulate when bleeding?

So..... i've been to the doc today and he said to do a test, although it sounds like my bleed is another loss.

He has given me tablets to stop the bleeding but said not to take them if i'm pregnant.

POSITIVE clear blue digital. 1-2 weeks.

This could be the hormones still in me but i'm losing. Right?

Clinging on to a bit of hope is daft. Right?

Can you have a clotted bleed like this and it not be a loss?

I'm only 7 days past ovulation.

Three words. WTF?

I had to go to the NHS walk-in centre today (although it is also my registered practice). Whilst i was there i booked to see my usual GP tomorrow evening. Maybe he can be clearer.

I just find it strange that this bleeding started before i got my 2 days of peak on CBFM.

HEEEEEEEEELP! I'm driving myself mad. A positive test gives you so much hope!

I think you need to contact an EPU (or somewhere the specialises in pregnancy)

Or else get your GP to blood test your hCG 48 hours apart to check the levels are doubling.

I can see why you are confused hun and I think blood tests will give a conclusive answer

best of luck!
