Hi guys

This may sound really stupid, but i just thought id ask.

If i start producing milk again before this baby is born, can start to express right away to build my suply up and give what i get to coby?

what about the colsrum (sp?) bit, can i freeze that to give to the new baby? thats the most important bit isnt it?

sorry if this sounds dumb

Milk tends to decrease in the fourth month. Your milk will be changing to get ready for the new baby, and will soon become colostum so Coby may not like the change in taste though you could try him with it. Am not too sure about pumping as colustum is hard to pump. Are you not going to brestfeed the colostrum as that would be easier for you, its just that yes when baby is born you could express for them which is a lot of work for you. As for expressing any during pregnancy I'm not sure but will have a read round for you.

thanks hun,

if i wait till the babys is born then yeah i would breast feed the colustum and then try to carry on when the milk came in, if not i would express, i was just hoping i could start expressing early so that when he or she gets here, i would have a full milk surply, coz Coby never seemd to get enough from me at the start.
