I know i have no right to be but i am.

Just been scrolling through facebook and have come across a mates pictures of her breastfeeding her baby, young baby as well. And shes drinking a can of fosters at the same time??? wtf!?

  Is the can actually at her mouth or just sitting beside her? It might not be hers babes

Hey mrst,

Please don't jump to conclusions - as Snuggle says, it might not be hers. If it is, you can have a wee drink when b/feeding and paradoxically, the best time to do it, is while b/feeding at the time, giving it time to get out of your system/diluted before the next feed.

Its not a spliff or a whiskey on the rocks - so really not worth getting worked up over.

I'd have to agree with Valentine, the best time to have a drink is when baby is feeding as then there is the longest time between feeds. I have had a small glass of wine whilst feeding Cally, whilst it didn't look the best example of motherhood it wasn't giving her alcohol.

Dont get me wrong im not out of my mind with rage about the matter, i just didnt think it was a good idea to drink when breastfeeding.

It was hers, i know the girl in question and not being funny wouldnt surprise me if she got trashed while bf.

ugh, thats sickening. i hope it was her first, that way baby wouldnt get it for 4-6 hrs.

I had to odd glass of red wine while BF - don't see the problem with just one. Not much a lager drinker though like your friend!
