Annoyed with OH

I know there was a thread bout this a couple of weeks ago but this is annoying me too! Since getting my bfp my OH just doesn't seem intrested! He hasn't told anyone including his best friend and won't even put his hand on my stomach. Everytime I talk bout what stage in growth the babies going through he ignores me and if I'm feeling unwell or sleepy he thinks I'm moaning! Grrr!!! It was his idea to have a second baby, I was fine before plodding along with just my DD so why is he now being so distant! Men are such pain in the butts!!!

My OH was like this in the beginning. But lately he's starting to get excited (he says he isnt and normally he dont get excited till he knows there's something there ie, scan) but he's told more people than me and he mentions the odd thing which makes me think he is!

Maybe your OH is waiting to see things are ok first? What was he like with your first?

I keep thinking maybe he wants to make sure everythings ok before getting attached it just makes me fill like he doesn't want it! With our first he was a nightmare but he was only 19 then! He didn't want our daughter and called me every name under the sun ( he's not like that now) but when I stood my ground and said we're keeping it he slowly came around and he's been a fantastic father! I hope he does become abit more involed after the scan!

My OH didnt get excited or talk about it much till our scan with our 2nd son (my oldest isnt his) he missed my 12 week one as he was trying to find a parking space in the hospital! So i had to wait till the 20 week one before i got some sort of excitement from him! But he was ever so chuffed when he did see him.

I'm sure he'll come round soon hun xx

I'm the other way round, my OH is driving me up the wall with constant fussing, belly touching etc. I was alone throughout my first pregnancy and I'm just not used to all this! Know I should be grateful but I just get wound up! I also think that because i'm only twelve weeks I don't like him touching my belly because (IMO) I just look fat at the minute rather than pregnant even though I can see a definate bump. Confusing! x

OH doesnt seem to touch my bump only when he feels like it which is bout once every few weeks lol.
He dont seem interested much either ive tried giving him things to sort out and go through things that i kinda liked for baby an for him to see which one he prefered so ive given him the chance although hes felt bubs move an kick an punch but he doesnt seem bothered bout it hope he likes it when ive given birth an how much pain ive had to go through to see our lil man . lets hope both partners seem more botherd. although my OH seemed more interested at the 12 week scan with lil man bouncin around than the 2nd scan cos lil man was so stubborn an hardly moved on the gender scan got a growth scan sometime in bout 2 weeks hope hubby likes to be involved more xx

my daughters dad (we are not together anymore) was absolutely rubbish thru my pregnancy! didnt really seem interested, did have any sympathy for anything i was going thru, didnt help me with anything.....i might aswell have been on my own. but as soon as she was born he completely changed.....he wouldnt be winning any father of the year contests but was definitely totally different once she was actually here.

dont let it take away your happiness and excitement, enjoy every minute, with or without him and im sure he will come round. like you said hes a great dad to your other little one and will be a great dad to this one too xxx

hi there my husband didnt seem interested with this pregnancy but was still sympathetic we talked bout it other night and he admitted its cos he didnt want to get too excited incase something went wrong also sometimes he forgets im pregnant as i dont have a big bump yet. happened with my 1st as well took a while to sink in i was pregnant as he wasnt seeing any change except the sickness haha so give him time he will come round xxxxx
