I am so annoyed got phoned from the sister from labour ward so say that the hospital is closed to all admissions and that my c section is now cancelled for friday I am gutted they say hopefully they will be back open on mon but they cant confirm, when I started crying I could not believe it as I am on my own everything s organised for my family to take time off work and help take my boys they cant change there plans so because I have made a bit of a fuss I am sitting waiting on a call to confirm if I have to be booked at different hospital or sit and hope I dont go into labour until the theatre is back open
Sorry bout the rant but I am so upset I have been geting organised then they change their plans

Oh no! That's terrible. You poor thing. I really feel for you. You must have been both physically and mentally prepared for this seeing as it was so close.

Do you know why they are closed to new admissions?

they would not say so my gp phoned and they say its because of dust contamination what ever that is I have even been shopping today for food for my boys to take to my mums when they stay over so just hope they find me a new hospital because after the way they spoke to me on the phone and the stress I am now feeling I will probably make myself go into labour with stress and I am not to contract because I have had 2 previous sections

Oh bless you I know what it's like to have a section cancelled I had mine booked and waited in the hospital ALL DAY only to be told it was cancelled and sent home

You'll get there hun and it'll be worth the wait

had my call they have been rearranged still for friday but different hospital and I will have to sit and wait my turn but at least its still friday have to be in tomoro for bloods to be cross matched but will be sent home to fast til friday oh the drama
